This electrolytic tilt sensor (also sometimes called an electronic tilt sensor) gives narrow range measurement up to ±3° with high accuracy of ±0.001° in one axis (single-axis measurement). This means that you’ll need two sensors to read in two axes (with orthogonal mounting, or mounted at a 90° angle). It has an industrial-grade, all-metal, and hermetically sealed sensor design for use in the most extreme environments. This sensor has the highest accuracy metal tilt sensor we offer, but it’s also higher cost than similar 0717 series tilt sensors. But remember, it’s still a lower cost than all of our glass electrolytic sensors.
